Installing Custom Maps



1. Open Windows Explorer and find your Legends of Might and Magic directories.
Most probably are located on C drive in Program Files under 3DO and Legends of Might and Magic.

2. Click in Legends folder and then click into DATA folder. Right click somewhere in this data folder and select create a new folder called WORLDS.

(this is where you will store all your custom LoMM worlds files)

3. Download the custom world zip you wish to try to your desktop.

4. Unzip the zip file and extract the Map Folder to your desktop.

5. Copy or cut the map file itself out of the folder

(its a file with .dat on the end)

and paste into the newly created WORLDS folder.

you are finished.

by the way dont forget you will also need a WORLDS.txt installed as well to play the level.
